Step 1: Click the Apps icon on the Home screen.
Step 2: Open Settings in Apps interface.
Step 3: Find and access Security.
Step 4: Choose Screen lock to move on.
Step 5: Select Password from the options available.
Step 6: Enter at least 4 characters to be a password and touch Continue.
Step 7: Re-enter the code and click OK to confirm it.
